The China Governance Lab is inviting UofT students to apply for institutional nomination to the Yenching Academy Fellowship

The Yenching Academy of Peking University is a two-year, fully funded Master’s program in China Studies that brings together outstanding young scholars from around the world. Through an interdisciplinary curriculum, Yenching Scholars explore China and its role in the world across the humanities and social sciences, while developing individualized study paths and engaging in academic and cultural exchange. The Yenching Fellowship provides comprehensive funding, including tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend, medical insurance, and support for field studies.

Interested students should submit their CV and full transcript to the China Governance Lab at chinagovernancelab.munk@utoronto.ca by November 20, 2026, for consideration.

All documents are to be submitted in a single PDF file named “[Last name], Yenching Academy App 2026-27”
